I have that and also I have a tendon that is stronger than the bone so it pulls on the bone. When I went to the doctor all he said to do was to ice it and stop doing squats.

Hey, I Have that and i still do. What i did to help ease the pain is i use that Cold/Hot Cream before a game then I stretch my knees, it should help.

What do you do to stretch your knees?

use one of those thera bands to stretch it, icey hott before games and pratice, and ice them after gamedays or if u want pratice, and the osgood thing is where ur tendons grow faster then your knee bones i think.. or the other way around.

Yeah, building up and stretching the muscles in your legs will help. Also like other people have said, use knee braces, ice it, and BIOFREEZE. This stuff rocks my face off. It feels so great, even if it isn't the best smelling stuff in the world.

ive had it forever, its just because you are growing, you just need to kinda grow outta it, and ice it after you practice and stuff. Ive had it 5 years and the pain isnt as bad as when it first started unless im constantly on it.

Im not sure what it is, but I cant bend my knee so my calf touches my hamstring because sometimes it locks or hurts really bad.. is this the same situation with you guys or is it something different?

is there a big bump of the front of your knee? like where is the pain coming from, i think you have something else, sounds like something in the hamstring

ive got patella tenditis or something aka runners knee, where some debris chips off the bone and gets stick under the knee cap, ive got it in both, and they crack when i bend and they hurt like ******* when i run, so i take advil sometimes when i know we are going to have a hell of a practice and i wear these strap things you velcros arounf your knee, they actually help i was surprised they helped as much as they did

a dump on the front of ur knees doesnt mean you have the osgood deisease, because ive got big bumps on the front of my kneees and they dont hurt at all.

i have it, you cant really do anytrhing about it accept suck it up, all pain goes away after a few weeks and you get rid of it after you stop growing...
