Hello.

I've heard that the STX Fuse should be illega. Is that true, and is illegal according to international rules too?

Why would it be illegal?

Pretty much every head that is store bought and not altered is going to be legal with the exception of a few evo/revo pros that were too small.

Well, I've just heard that the "rubber coating" is illegal. Not because of dimensions, but because the rubber is more dangerous that the plastic heads are usually made of.

Some say that the rubber hurts opponents skin more than the regular plastic.

I don't agree, but I just want to make sure that I'm not playing with an illegal stick.

THERE'S NO CRYING IN LACROSSE

They wouldn't make a stick illegal just because it hurt a little more when it brushed against someone.

Think about wood shafts and Indian sticks. Perfectly legal in many leagues, and these hurt opponents' BONES much more than regular sticks do!

Other thing to think about - Store-bought heads are almost never illegal. A head would never get to market if the manufacturer didn't have a letter from NCAA approving the design concept or prototype.

The Fuse is legal fo NCAA play as well as for every high school league and rec league I could find info on. We've never heard of anyone getting booted from a game for using the Fuse.
As for whether or not it is legal for International play all depends. I've actually got a customer in Germany who had a perfectly leagl head but they wouldn't let him use it until he go the little sticker that says it is legal for International play...So that would be something to check into.
