Compression Shorts

I was thinking about geting some compression shorts to wear when I play. I've seen many lacrosse, football, and basketball players wear them. I've been told they are extremely comfortable, keep all your "stuff" in position, or they are very hot.

What is so great about them? I heard they can prevent pulling muscles and prevent injuries. Why do ya'll wear them?

I love em. They aren't that hot. Only problem is that after a few hours in them, you long for your balls to be free.

they reduce jock rash which is awesome, and they are nice and breathable.

That's what I wear. They're way more comfortable than a jock.

Underarmor ones are nice and smooth, but as was said before, testes need to breathe.

I don't find them really comfortable, i only wear them to keep cup rash at bay.

I love my ua compression shorts. I want another pair; I say you can't not have them and play lax.

I have the ua ones that i wear only on game days and then wear my jock strap. i started doing this cause i got jock rash but now i dont and i just do it all the time. the ua ones are silky smooth and look hot in black!

i have the ones with the pads in the thighs, slider shorts, they have a built in cup pocket and some padding(very minimal) that protects the side of your leg, i play defense and take shots in the leg, so it helps.

Yeah, sounds about right. I wear them because they don't bunch up. And because they prevent jock itch.

I saw that walmart's underarmor knockoff has compression shorts now. Anyone field test 'em?

i love my underarmour ones........they arent that hot and i they are all purpose to me....i use them for lax, at the gym, and even running

they are comfortable

I dont wear them because they make me feel to restrained if you know what I mean. But if I wore a cup i would so the jock strap wouldn't rub

yeah..that cup can come in very handy sometimes. anyways, those compression shorts are a must. after youve used them for a while you wont want to play without em.

When i was using a regular jock i wore UA compression shorts. Def a must have to prevent jock rash.

Now i have a set of compression shorts w/ the cup pocket built in ... very nice.
