Is a crosslace nylon?

I know I sound retarded but is a crosslace just another word for nylon? If so then is sidewall string the same as crosslace? I'm confused.... :crying:

Sidewall string isn't nylon, but crosslace is a thin version of nylon.

side wall string isnt the same as nylon... if youre talkina about nylon shooters, sidewall string is good, but u can also use crosslace

Crosslace is the stuff around the leather straps in traditional stringing and yes it is made of nylon. Sidewall is string that you use to attach things to the sidewall but is a little thicker, this is also made of nylon.

so on jimalx's site the crosslace spools is the same stuff as nylon? like in kryptics how to string a pita pocket, he says to use whatever amount of nylon, thats the same thing as crosslace, an if not where can u get nylon?
