I got an STX Liquid unstrung for a cheap price. Do you think its a good head? I'm gonna string it with mini mesh and complete it with a Warrior CU31 Platinum Alloy shaft. I'm a middie. Do u think that's gonna be a good stick?

No, thats gonna suck, mini mesh is the worst mesh around IMO, string it with something else first of all. Whats a cheap" price to you? You can get a liquid offa ebay for prob 15-20$. Second of all, the liquid isnt a very good head, the little flaps on the side break off very easily, even tho the pinch is pretty nice, it wont hold up and alltogether i would tell you the sticks prob gonna suck. Not saying it to be rude though, i just wanna be blunt and tell you the truth.

well a liquid isnt goodf compared to the other heads that price (trition, razor, finalizer, etc) but it is reasonable cuz its light. I see no point in the flappy thingy.

I played a while with an old brine blaze that i pinched and threw some 6 diamond mesh in..i got it to throw perfect and everyone on this board knows the blaze is a horrible head...but i liked it, and it did me well after i put a bit of time into it..Im not saying i wasnt glad to get my Revo back from warrior...but i liked it..


Get you're liquid...and do what you want with it...just make sure you like it and itll throw good for you...

ITS ME AGAIN! please state the bad and good parts of mini-mesh FROM PEOPLE WHO USE IT OR HAVE USED IT. sorry but e-lacrosse makes it sound so wonderful and like its the best thing to ever hit lacrosse....and everybody on these boards says it sucks.what other stringing options are good? and Liquid was the only thing i could find within my budget

First off, sell the liquid to some dumb kid for alot of money. The reason minimesh is bad is that is has very little hold, and really has no benefits. What did the e-lax article say about minimesh?

yea go for the catauputation...ive got some and the pocket is amazing in it and its not hard at all to control how the pocket will be

but on a side note...how is it that lax.com charges $74 for a damn liquid and great atlantic charges $30???????????

thanks for the help. I ended up getting 6 diamond mesh and I just got done stringing it a few minutes ago. Its great and I love it.
