Lacrosse.com is selling Brine Edge with Mid Monster Mesh for 22 bucks and change. Is this worth it. Is the edge a good head and is mid monster mesh good mesh?

what postition do you play? you can easily get it re strung to something towards your liking.

22 bucks is a sweet deal but the only thing is the edge is kind of a wide scoop but thats alright, i think you should go ahead, and mid monster is ok, and like vienna said, you can always restring it to your likeing.

If it's brine mid-monster mesh, then DEFINITELY re-string it.
I've had many experiences with brine mid-monster mesh, and that thing just doesn't stretch. Can't make a pocket at all.
Even so, an unstrung edge for 22 bucks is a good deal IMO.

I'll add to the throng of good deal replies. The edge can be extremly versatile and once you've strung it to your likeing you'll be very happy.

for 22 bucks you cant go wrong, but as for if its a good head, i like it, but i dont know if you will like it.

youll be rolling like it was 1998, great buy for 22$, not sure about stringing, but do it! the edge is a great head for all positions and really stiff for d, i pinched one and put it on a d-pole and i dont even play d, slap some trad hard mesh or 6d nd ur good to go man

i say buy it and then pinch it a bit cauz a kid on my team has a pinched edge and its sick he starts it over a finalizer

Pro d-players use the original edge for their head... Good buy even unstrung.

I have a vapor with mid monster mesh and i love it, sure its hard to break in but it will stay for ever, its awsome

I play mostly midi and sometimes D and i use an edge with some soft mesh. Sweet combo

The original edge is pretty sick, especially on D. 22 is a steal because i know places that still sell em for 40 unstrung *cough lax unlimited cough* so id say go for it. If you dont like the mesh you can always restring it.
