I'm looking at helmets and was wondering what everyone's opinion is on the Cascade Cpx (with a steel cage) and the Gait Field helmet with a titanium cage (I can get these two options at the same exact price). Cascade is obviously a popular choice, but I've also heard that people that have had Gait's love them as well. The only bad things that I've heard about the Gait helmet is from people that don't own it. I was wondering if anyone has tried both and what you thought of them. I live in Florida and can't just go to a store to try them on, so that's not really an option. Any advise?

I think by steel cage he means the black one.
I would suggest the gait, I have used both and I just love my gait. It is light, fits great, and has great vision.

I second that for the gait. I got mine before they came out with TI facemasks, and it was one of the lightest helmets I've ever used. I can't imagine how light it would be with a TI cage. The only bad thing about the Gait is that it doesn't have quite as much padding as other helmets on the market, but it has enough to keep you comfortable.

Yeah that was what I meant by the steel cage...the black one. Have you guys worn the Cpx as well? If so, you still prefer the Gait over it?
