so i just bought some new leather reef sandals and just wondering if anyone has them, wonder if they get really messed up in the water, do most leather sandals get totaly trashed in the water?

they dont get trashed, but they do get kinda messed up.

They get kinda cruddy for a day or two, but after regualar wear will go back to normal, dont worry about it.
And i have had some leather Reef's for 2 years now, they just tore to the point where i need some new ones.

yeah i have a pair of birkenstocks and i wore them in the rain on accident and they got really nasty
