For those of you who have rainbow sandals.....
Are they worth the 40-45 bucks?
Orange
06-02-2005, 03:35 PM
Yes definitely. I have had more for over two years now and there's not a single tear. I would suggest getting the shiny leather ones, they are more comforting and dry easier than the premium leather ones. (I have both)

Yes, they're totally worth it. Either them or redley's, my friend had a pair of them for 5 years and they finally broke last week.

What the hell kind of rule is that? I'm debating if I should get rainbows, it's mind boggling that they can be better then reefs.

And the difference between regular and premium leather, which is better? I want to hear from more than just one person (Orange) on that though. And if you're in between sizes, aim big, or aim small?

Whoever said dont get them wet: It doesn't really matter, they soften up again.
My mom owes me a pair. I am leaning towards hemp, but the leather is classic.
Orange
07-16-2005, 11:34 PM
I have the hemp and both leather kinds. The hemp are real comfortable too but the most comforting ones are the shinier leather ones.

Or you could go to the birkenstock store and look on the sale rack, that's how I got mine. They normally retailed for $105 but I ended up getting them for $35.

Birks and Rainbows are both real nice. I like Reefs a lot though too I have a few diff pairs of reefs the only pair I don't really like are the new fannings (green and yellow). Sanuk makes some sweet sandals too. I have the fur reals and my good friend has the Tarzans. Crocs are nice but extremely ugly as said so I don't think I'll be wearing em anytime soon.

I have rainbows, I really like them, they're really comfortable after they break in. I wasn't used to the thong sandals though so it tore up inbetween my toes before i got used to them.

Just ordered the double-arch tan leather rainbows. Shipping takes forever though. Those reef fanning sandals are insane; that bottle-opener thing is handy if it works.
