Welcome to the NLL......our officials can't see crap.

I am outraged by the call, even though I only heard it on the radio. Players should lose games, not refs. I'm surprised there asn't been an apology to the K-Hawks by the league. When the NFL refs had really bad game-winning (or losing) calls, the NFL fined the refs, and apologized to the team.

Well, from seeing how fans are reacting to this on other message boards, as well as this one, I think we need to observe something.

Buffalo fans are outraged that the Rochester bench reacted so negatively towards the decision. I think it might have had something to do with the blown call Bandits fans.....dunno, I might be looking too much into things there.

Rochester fans are outraged that the scorekeeper got to influence the game. From their perspective, they had a horrible look at the goal, but had a perfect view of the clock. The real deciding factor would have been those hokey green lights behind both goals that light up when a quarter is over. They automatically go on, disabling every other light. So, since the green light came on a split second after the goal, and the reaction time of the official behind the net didn't activate the red light indicating goal before the green light came on, the decision was "no goal". It was the wrong decision, but thats how they came to get that. What we need is games to be televised, so instant replay can be used.....but thats a whole different can-of-worms.

jesus. hasnt buffalo been the victim of enough bad calls? Music City Miracle? Or how about the time in the stanley cup against dallas where Hull was clearly in the crease and scored the cup winning goal? At least this call is debatable. Please, let it go.

Why does this have to do with BUFFALO getting the bad call here? The Hawks were the ones who were ripped off. And now with their 0-2 start, that call could influence if they make the playoffs or not.

The final score stands. We win, you lose. No amount of *****ing will change that
