So here I was, checking out NCAA championship lacrosse pictures, and suddenly, BAM, (did I scare you?) I stumble on this picture:

Is that tissue I see in his elbow pads?
If so, That's such a good idea. Think about it, how often do you try an arm pad and its either to tight or too loose. Of course, if you don't find the perfect fit you'll get the bigger pad right? As they say "you'll grow into it". hah
Well there ya go, just use Tissue to fix it up.
How clever, I tell ya no wonder these guys were undefeated. When you have minds like that there's no stopping you!!!.
It's either tissue or the pad's tag.

That's exactly what i thought when i saw it. Make the pads fit better or stop from getting a rash.

I'm pretty sure it's the tag. I used to have those arm pads and that tag would always annoy me.

i thought it was to fit size or maybe there was some rubbing of the velcro there.

Not neccessarily, maybe only the top part bothered him. Or half of it is hidden by the strap and only a part came out.

Well even if it is or isn't a tissue thats not the point I'm trying to make here. The point is that using tissue could fix your size problem.
If you guys have any other little cool practical tips please post them. They can be real helpful.

pretty sure its a tag. a tissue would rip up just putting on the arm pad, not to metion the condition after the fastest game on two feet.

I disagree, I'll give it a try, apart from it absorbing sweat... I think it could work well. I'm not restricting it only to tissue. Use anything. You could use like paper towels, They make them triple quilted these days hehe.. Rugged as anything it should manage it.

Hey, you know what they say
"All roads lead to Rome."
and whats the significance of that saying to this thread?
Are you trying to say that no matter where the pads were made (indicated on the ticket) it was really made in Rome? even though it was made in china.

I wear cut up socks under my Vent X arm pads. It keeps them from pinching my arm and sliding around.

Instead of using tissue, why wouldn't you use a sweatband or something? I think its the tag.
