Ok, I recently restrung my two eclipses up, one with a MClothier 20D bag, the other with a decent sized 12D pocket.
I used to be able to clear with ease with my 20D, but the mesh is starting to soften up alot and I'm getting some pretty sick whip, my 12D started doing it a little, so I just added a shooter and it was golden.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there is a different throwing technique I should use for clearing the ball, and should I be following through on my throws now, because I didn't used to have to. I played some wall ball to test some throwing techniques but none of them really work, I'm using my 12D right now so I can at least get the ball down the field, but I'm still getting used to it.
Thanks for any help.

Well, there are a few options, but I'd suggest sraying some wood finish on your 20D. I know a guy that does that will all of his mesh, including hard mesh and duramesh. Soft mesh is the same as hard mesh, it's just coated. Don't adjust your 20D, I'll be back thursday, and hopefully I'll have the brand for you. It works great, and you'll be throwing just like before in no time, and for about $4.

If your throwing beyond the restraining line you should always be following threw. The short outlet throws you can just punch out there.

Thanks, I'll give that a try, right now I just added some vertical shooters to take a little whip out of it.

Sometimes one mesh breaks in a bit simply tightening either the sides or the bottoms definitely hepl. I am waiting for my 20 d to break in because it has little to no hold right now

That's how mine was when I first strung it up and started breaking it in. The ball would fly out when I cradeled, pretty terrible, it's real nice when it breaks in though, I tightened all my sidewalls this after noon, I'm going to throw around with it tommorow, and see how it works.

Just be patient especially during the break-in process. Sure it will throw fine right when you string it and the mesh is nice and hard, and it will throw after lots of work when it is completely broken in. But in between those stages, before the mesh is completely stretched, thats where you need the patience. Just take you time and keep making adjustments to it and eventually everything will be smooth.

As far as (fundamental) passing goes--I just make sure I have absolutely perfect form when I am making outlet passes. Hands up, hands back, straight over the top; top hand does everything, full follow through--through the entire motion.
Sometimes the weather can be awful, and it can do a number on my pocket--I just focus on my mechanics.

Thanks for the advice, I just put my stick on a goalie length shaft and it's already throwing better.
Oh, and moondog, who do you play for?
