just wonderin' if an attack shaft could be use as goalie shaft or wud it be better to use a shaft that's specifically for goalies??
oh! one more thing... are there any requirements or limits to women's goalie stick.. i know there's a limit in lenght, but i dunno bout the stringing and wideness of the head itself.
thanks

A standard length men's goalie shaft makes any women's lacrosse goalie stick illegal by being too long. From what I hear, and from my own experience with the goalies I coach, most girl goalies prefer attack length shafts to begin with due to weight and manueverablility.

Liz, have you ever had your stick checked in a game? I know I haven't...
Ohh by the way, Good Morning and thank you for the call!

i think that a shorter shaft allows more mobility for quicker saves . . . although for strength i would use a goalie shaft like the carbon-fiber throttle, just cut down to shortstick length (if you want to buy a carbon-fiber throttle, PM me)

Uhh....every girls goalie has their stick checked atleast once a game during the pregame stick check....

I think the new 803's are stronger because they're enhanced with titanium... and no, i havn't ordered it yet. we're gunna see if we can get it local first.

Every Goalie stick gets checked before every game - or at least it should. Most games - I see the tape measure out to be sure

Currently I have a goalie shaft that works great, but is rather heavy. I have always wondered if I could put a composite shaft on it...my head has a ton of whip, so I don't know how the combination would work out. I think it would be cool to have a harrow with an indent on my current head, but don't know how the combination would work. Would a straight harrow or warrior work better?
Thanks!

i had a regular goalie shaft and had to cut it because including the head the maximum lenght must be 48" or less. so rather than spend the money on goalie shaft and cutting it just buy a attack shaft. i would recommend a straight harrow, thats what i am getting
