Has anyone ever seen/used this?
I remember there was a poster here that I think invented it.
Anyways, I saw the Ad for it in an old Inside Lacrosse and it said they were available. But the website doesn't seem to work for me, so I was wondering if anyone has tried this thing?

Yea I know, but this really seems like a good idea. I remember we had a discussion with the guy before he made this. It was about weighted shafts, and he was going to make a tool that strengthens shooting muscles and has the weights at the right places.

Looks like a waste of money to me, and wouldnt the weight warp the shape of the head.

Good point. Yea I guess it's a good idea in theory but unrealistic and too expensive.

not to mention, if u really want the weights, spend $10 on a weight for bench & something to seal it to ur stick, and be CREATIVE.

you should just buy like a 3 dollar bag of sand and fill a stick with it. It's a whole weighted stick and only costs a few dollars.

Yes, but having a 5 pound shaft and a 7 ounce head is the weirdest feeling in the world. Plus, it may throw off your fundamentals. It did for my friend who's played three years now.

^ and having a 4 pound head and a 3 pound shaft is better ?
anyone can play witha heavy shaft but a top heavy stick can really mess up your playing
I used to use a weighted shaft(aluminum filled with small stones) to play wall ball and shoot
but know I have a broken head on it with no stringing
I just go in to the backyard and do ten shots right overhand, then left, for 3/4 sidearm and underhand 3 , then repeat for 3 sets
stregthens shooting musceles without effect of changing where you would aim the ball for passing and shooting

Tiplax there was no need to bring this thread back, I know there are weighted shafts and I have already found a heavier alternative anyway (I made a thread a few months back). Also I started this because it was a new thing started by a TLF member from a while ago, and I wanted to see if anyone had tried it.
