I just got my new Revo pro and every time I go down to get a ground ball the head wll rattle, whats happening and how can I fix it. I don't want to tape it or glue it, Do you think the head was made wrong or the inside is worn down

Maybe it's not attatched firmly to the shaft? That would be my guess. Put some tape on the end of the shaft then put the head over the tape, and then tape the head to the shaft and it should be fine.

Some heads and shafts just dont fit right. What kind of shaft are you using?

Just get the screw in tight and then if you have tried all tape possible use glue

same problem with my evo pro on my kryptolyte. All you have to do is wrap some tape around the end of the shaft and put the head over it and it will solve the problem.

Is taping the only thing that will help

maybe make sure that its on the shaft all the way? and make sure the screw is very tight. that would be my guess

instead of one layer, put multiple layers of tape on the shaft until it fits snuggly

man im just wondering what kind of solution you were looking for maiking this thread
your original post admitted that either the head is too big or the shaft is too small
so I dont know why you wouldn't simply solve this problem by putting tape around the shaft and then put the head on to solve this size discrepancy

I don't want to tape it

:banghead: You don't have to tape the whole shaft, just the part where the head goes on. And if you are making a thread of ways to make it better, then listen to the respones you get. They are right, either put tape their or a piece of folded up paper. Other than that you can deal with a rattling head.

if u r getting a new shaft, don't worry about it until u get the new shaft. If u still have a problem, tape it

And if tape wont work and you really like your new shaft glue it

Just put tape on the top three inches of the shaft were the screw is and shove the head on. After that, tape the head itself onto the shaft. There isnt any other way to stop the rattle. Have you thought maybe that the rattle is from the ends of your shooting strings? The plastic ends make that noise to!!!

my revo pro used to rattle but I got tired of it and so I took the screw out and jammed the head down on the shaft as far as I could and just taped a drilled a nd threw a new screw on there just make sure it is tight.

it rattles because if it didnt give it would break because of the stiffness.

drilling a new hole in the shaft and getting a firm screw will help alot and it shouldnt rattle after that.
