a couple guys on my team have put vaseline on their freshmesh, it seem to hold it even better than the fresh mesh does alone
freshmesh is rubber so it like sticks to the ball with the friction

wouldn't it give you less hold since vaseline is a petrolium and very slick?

vaseline is lubricant.. the only thing i think it would do is maybe give you a faster reasease.. for better hold get a candle melt a bunch of wax like in a pot or something and cover ur mesh with a coat of wax it will have like the affect of wat wax has on a surfboard it will give you grip but also control

dude wat a waste of vaseline i could have used that with a thermometer.
dude i tried putting vasoline on my stick it is terrible no hold

I have tried it before as well, just makes the mesh and kinda nasty. Mclax has got the right idea, melting a candle and coating your mesh in it will work and if it's STX hard mesh which is really not hard (like I just ought), It will harden it up just a bit so it's good.
