I have had en Edge for liek 4 years, during preaseason this year it got cracked on the scoop, do you think that if I dyed it, it would make a bond that would hold up for a while?

No. Because dye is a stain, it is not an adhesive. You could try epoxy.

WHat he said... but buy some fiberglass cloth and oput it around the crack then epoxy under and over the fiberglass this it will be real strong. but plain epoxy should work just wont be as strong

you can get fiberglass cloth at hobby lobby or maybe home depot, but i just tried it on a broken stick of mine and didn't work to well. so just go for epoxy

yeah you might as well go buy a new edge for around 20 bucks(so says gfgoalie28) , because once you get all the fiberglass cloth and the epoxy it will probally be close to buying a new head..if im not mistaken.

allright. Epoxy is bought at a surf store. They have two kinds, suncure which allready has cloth mixed into it. This is the easiest because it drys in the sun within 10 minutes. Then they have epoxy resin where you mix two parts together and add the cloth and wait like 3 hours and sometimes it doesn't even dry well. I recomend the suncure epoxy kit and its like 9 dollars

Inside. Around it would just create a big bump there.
