Ok, I am a coach in TX and I need some ideas to recruit some really athletic players for this upcoming season. Let's here some suggestions.

1. put this in the coaching forum
2. get football players interested in lacrosse

Talk about how lacrosse has the hitting of football, the fast pace of basketball and high scoring.

but u dont just want football players lacrosse is also about finess not just hitting u should even look at hockey and soccer players and put it out there in the open so people hear about it and get their attention and get them intrested

definitely emphasize that people can go out for the sport regardless of previous experience. some people might get scared off b/c they've never played it or don't know whats going on. also, make lifting a big part of your program so that football players or other athletes dont feel like they'll be missing out on the training they could do for their main sport. finally make some type of intramural lacrosse (indoor maybe, i dunno how the weather is in TX in the winter) so people can come get a taste of the game without any committment or seriousness. put a bunch of signs up around school too.

I'm going to have to say you are probably not cut out to be a coach if your are calling a 16 y.o. d-bag online
coaches have to put up with a lot of stuff from players and frankly i dont think your cut out for the job

Hey, thanks for that valuable input keenan. Next time I need to post something I will consult you. Are there any other forums that you recommend for this post?
