hey every one i just orderd some american mesh from jimalax and i'm gonna string my new brine awnser with it and i was wondering if you guys thought it was easier to string a stick on the shaft or with just the head? and i was also wondering besides stretching the mesh should i soak it in water or somthing :thinking: i really dont have a clue so if some one could help me out i'd really apresiate it

Well, Try both, see what you like. I only keep the shaft on if i have to rearrange shooters or something.

just head is much mch easier imho

along with the soaking it in the water put in a wash cycle in the washing machine

You don't really have to soak american mesh because it is soft. I prefer stringing heads when its on a shaft, but thats just me.

i like stringing when its off the shaft but i always like having a head i already strung for reference but since you've never strung a head before find a another head or pictures on the internet so you can compare sometimes the little directions they give you with the kits can get confusing

oh ive never used jimalax before. i usually just use the warrior kits

just roll up the mesh and pull on it

Personally, if it's mesh i'm stringing, i do it head-only. If it's a custom pocket, i'll throw a shaft on it because i know i'll be working a while.

i just got my head today its awesome i love that brine awnser...ne way it didnt come with a ball stop but i know my kit does..should i trim the stop up? or should i leave it alone? and how do u guys put them on? sorry for all these questions thanks for all your help so far

You should make sure the ball stop fits on the back of the stick and if it doesn't trim it until it does.
