i havent broken anything yet but my old armpads always used to slide downand i always got poke checked in the same spot and always got a brone bruise in the same spot and it always was blue and always moved skin up... not pretty

I "found" lax a year ago. In my first training session a dude called Des was tripped by a longpole (through the legs) and ended having to wear a full length (to the groin!) leg cast after a break. 3 weeks later I break my index finger after a poke check to my lower hand (new gloves for me :-) ) but to be fair I have seen much fewer injuries in Lacrosse than in Rock climbing, downhill mountain biking or Mua Thai Kickboxing, the other sports I play(ed)

I broke my wrist in my second game ever last year. My goalie came out of the crease for a ball and someone was lining him up for a hit and i got to the kid first and laid him out. I had my hands hit him awkwardly though and my wrist broke.

well, I was playing indoor in high school, and I was on the crease getting ready to shoot, and our goalie came out and cross checked me in the face mask.. that made my helmet slide down.. the top forehead pad slid down and crushed my nose

not broken, but lots of trashed joints. both ankles and my right shoulder. completely fried. surgeries so far: both ankles and eventually on the shoulder.
my left shoulder isnt great, but it doenst usually bug me.

Hairline fractures in both forearms from an old school wood D stick. Result of wind up axe shot that missed the stick and got me instead.... both forearms went numb.. then hurt some.

Oh, and broken knuckle catching a tossed ball at a lax game, barehanded (Note: Yes, it was very stupid)...

I did this in a fall-ball tourny last november:

Break at the base of my 2nd metacarple
Five breaks in my 3rd metacarple
Spiral fracture in my 4th metacarple

All from a fluke body check that didnt even send me to the ground. Its funny, when the circumstances are just right it doesnt take much to jack yourself up.

Broke a collarbone in '97 during ground ball drills....broke and dislocated a thumb from a check in '03 and needed surgery.....not really lax related, but broke my nose in '79 when some weak kid dropped his end of a goal on me while carrrying it

Costocondritis: Chest Sprain
Freshman year playing in a JV game I got the ball on the left wing and a middie who was way shorter than me (I was 6'4 then) hit me and his helmet bill got me in the middle of the chest right above the V neck of my shoulder pads. I was out for 2 weeks or so.

Also I have sprained my right thumb like 4 times.
