The Condition of Lacrosse in Illinois

i also think that anyone that reads my thread should post something on it. it would be polite, and would popularize my thread. also, if you don't post, :love: taylor hillis :love: will find out where you go to school and come tryout as goalie. :bawling: he will work very hard to make the team and then slack off and leave your team with high hopes, but no goalie. :nono: :guns: :bawling: :bawling:

seeing is how my team has 2 goalies already i dont think you coming up and makling a fool of yourself in try outs will end up in my team being high and dry with out a goalie, but anyway why do you want to make yourself i.e your threads so popular?

#11laxman is not Taylor Hillis. Luckily I have had the privalige of playing with hillis for two years. As I recall he made the All star game at the midwest challenge tourney last summer and the NJ Elite goalie did not. As for lax in IL, it is pretty decent with the exception of Lyons Township. They are underclass individuals from an area in IL that nobody really appreciates. On behalf of all the lacrosse players in IL we would like to ask them not to play next year or embarrassmant in the state championship will be their inevitable doom.

whoa what is going on with this thread?? anyway in regards to the quality of lax in IL, i would say for girls its pretty good. i think this past season there were three teams around me (lake forest, loyola and new trier) with a national ranking so thats got to say something. as far as boys i dont really know. i know our (libertyville) boys team was alright but finished second in state last year.

judging by the members of this board i would definately say lacrosse is booming in illinois. when i first joined this board (last year) there were only a few of us illinois laxers. now it seems like every thread in the HS forum has to do with illinois lax. hopefully that says something about the spread of lacrosse acrosse the US!
