Removing Dye

Has anybody ever tried to use the color removal on a a pre-dyed stick? How well does it work? My sister has a blue Brine Xcel that she would like me to try to dye, and I was thinking I could use the color remover to make it white and blue, but I'd hate to ruin her stick.

It doesnt work that well, It will only make it lighter, it wont become white--plus it reeks like woah
