I hear good stuffabout the shivers but only from warrior "freaks"(no offense i like warrior too). i get hit all the time on the arms and cuffs of my gloves and my arm pads now(spartans) protect me great but u cant move at all in them. im more of a ball handler and my spartans are holding me back will the shiver D's help me?If no wat do u use?

Why do you constantly chime in on things which you have no idea what you're talking about? Aren't you the kid who's never played before?

theyre really comfortable, but i would imagine the elbow guards being more protective in the long run. i have the latter, and theyre good, but a bit long, and they slide down alot. probably the most protective armpad you'll eve rbuy though.

I guess the Shiver d's look OK but theyre 70 bucks and i got my vent X's for 40 and they protect just as much

I would say the vent x's are a bargain for the money, but the shivers look good, flexible, ventilated with the outside plastic vents, and protective too. The only thing I don't understand is the purpose of the sleeve on the top of the pad. I guess since they're "shivers" they are supposed to keep your arms warm in the upper east where it snows frequently, but I really don't know it's purpose. I think if you're going to spend that money, get the pc 6.0 arms or elbows, neither of them have the questionable sleeve, so that, the g-forces, or the vent-x's would be my 4 I would have to choose from.
