New Shaft! i love it

well i was using an old brine shaft for a long time and i didnt really like it. so saturday i whent to Lax World and got a Harrow IX!!! http://www.harrowsports.com/Zing.asp?Item=10332&Group=125&Type=24&Cat=50 i got the dark blue one! im so siked! i love it. i love the grip, the throw and everything! has anyone had this shaft before? goods or bads to it?

Real constructive... ok, the stick is overall nice... its light. I guess you wouldnt have to worry about chipping in girls unless your checking or being checked illegally, but natrually it'll get some scratches. It doesnt dent too easy... I prefer metal to composite though, but its all your preference.

^^thanks. no we dont check shafts in our league (only heads) and yea i totally expect it to get scratched up but when he said "it will look like crap soon" i was like uhh... but i mean i have a friend whos had hers since elementary school and it looks pretty good.

I guess if it were in more contact like the guys game, but in girls lax we shouldn't have to worry about it. My FAVORITE shaft is the Db803... its SUPER light, very durable, and has a nice grip on it. If you ever get a new shaft other than the harrow, get that.

yep, it does chip but that's expected..it will last a long time..the rubberized grip has a nice feel to it....it's a plus in cold weather....enjoy it...i actually gave up the 803 for the harrow...now i am using the warrior heroine power wave composite, the harrow is on the backup stick...

I'll have to try out that warrior. What i didn't like about the harrow was the price and the taper... it threw me off.

yeah my bff christina has that one and i as well love that one too! it is REALLY light and i think that thats going to be my next choice when my time to get a new shaft comes around. but out of all the shafts ive had this harrow has been a great feel to my hands. and yes, i do expect it to chip but other than that i love it

This is laxgirls friend. I have the same exact harrow stick except its red. I love it. I barely notice the chips that are on it. If you like the light weight feel I would go with harrow, but if you don't like that get the warrior that feels like a harrow. personally, i think you made a good choice. If you make sure when your playing around no one checks the stick really hard, you should be ok. i love the indent too, it makes for a nice grip.

^^agreed. i love the indent and i love how i can just hold the stick whereever im comfortable with. and its so easy to slide my hands around. i just got in from playin outside w. it against the wall and its so awesome.
