I'm probably going to try out for the Team Georgia Travel Team in January, and I want to know what they want to see. I am good with both hands, throwing catching and cradleing, I can run fast, juke, defend, and shoot really well. Do you think i have a chance? Also, What can I do to prepare? What else would the coaches be looking for? Thanks.

They'll will be looking at all of those things, but they'll also be looking for intensity and hustle. If you loose the ball or make a bad pass or something, than hustle after it and go for the ground ball.

Also, don't get too emotional if something bad happens - it happens to the best of us. Just take it in stride and don't let it affect your play.

Other than that, go in confident and in shape.

i agree with sumsum. another thing that each team looks for is attitude. if the ref makes a bad call or if you get stuck in a position you dont like, dont react bad to it. cuz you may not be the best at lax (no sayin you arent) but they can help you with lacrosse. attitude comes natural.

at my brothers college soccer tryouts the first thing that the coach said was "the first thing im looking for is attitude. idc if you suck at soccer, cuz we can help you with that, but we cant help you with your attitude so you guys better hustle out there"

good luck!! and have fun! lol

Intensity, hustle, and be in your peak shape. Conditioning can make all the difference between a good laxer and a great one.

also be a leader, a lot of coaches look for leadership too.
