bedroom color

i'm thinking about painting my room dark blue with a greyish silver ceiling. Does anyone have a room like this and does it look stupid?

If your room is already small I definitely wouldn't paint it a dark color. My sister did that and her room felt like it was closet.

All depends on what look you're going for. If you like retro/metro/asian. Dark colors do make a room feel small. I like contemporary, my room is a green with dusted silver, light wood, and black accents.

My rooms a boring light blue. I wanted it tan but mother did not approve. You want a gray ceiling? I've always just seen white ones.

I didn't know you can paint ceilings. My house has this gritty stuff on the ceiling that falls off when rubbed. BTW, my room is tan. It's pretty boring.

my room is actually pretty sweet. i painted it white and then i took a wash cloth and dipped it in red paint and whipped red paint all over my room. its so cool. it was my moms idea.

Mines like a white/tan. It depends on which wall or place you are looking at.

my room's an eggshell color with a white ceiling. My friend's room is painted navy blue and he has a white ceiling. Looks good. Wish my room could be that color but my mom is a house designer wanna be

I have a blue room. Im moving into the basement when we finish it next month and im going to go Tan with that one. Darker colors do make your room seem smaller.
