It doesn't hurt all that much but the bad thing is you can't eat hard foods..well you can but it hurts. The pain kinda differs for every1 though. But ya it hurts the first day especially if ur teeth are impacted like mine were

got mine out last week monday. it hurt the first day cuz i couldnt open my mouth enough to take the pills. otherwise, the pain wasnt that bad. basically, i lived on ice cream, cuz i couldnt eat anything for a week.

I already went in to meet the dude taking them out and learn about everything that will happen. I think I go sometime in August, not looking forward to not being able to do anything active for like a week.

All four impacted, coming in in weird directions. That day I was eating solid foods and talking. I got lucky. I went to our Blockbuster to rent some movies after my surgery. I ran into a friend and she was like, "Aren;t you supposed to get your wisdom teeth removed soon?" I told her I had gotten them out only a few hours earlier. The guy who took mine out apparently did a really good job.

You've been out for four days?

Shizz, mine were nowhere near that bad.....I was all doped up the first day, but I was out smoking and drinking and eating whatever I wanted that night!

I get mine out in August before heading back to school. Both my sisters recovered in about a day, so I'm hoping it runs in the blood or something

i get mine out the sixth of july, and im not looking forward to it at all. i have a thing about doctors and thats that i dont like them at all cuz they just lie to you and say this wont hurt then they cut off your arm with a chipped plate. the only one i like is my eye doctor, cuz he doesnt do anything bad to me. and im definately hoping my recovery time isnt a week. did anyone's doctor say that they couldnt play lacrosse for a specific amount of time? cuz i have (had) a tournament that weekend, maybe a camp the next week, and definately a camp the week after.

The swelling can be pretty bad. Your helmet fit may be affected.

All 3? There's four.

Anyway, I had them all take out bout 2 weeks ago. It's not bad at all. My nurse was a 10 so that worked out. Plus the painkillers take care of most of the pain. The only thing that really blows is the constant taste of blood. You'll have pretty rank breath for a week.

Not for everyone...Wisdom teeth don't always come in fours...some have 4, some 3, some 2...some people don't even have them...
not sure why but hey...im not complaining

I remember when I got mine out. My friend paul had gotten his out a few months before so on the day of my operation I showed up with his teeth, handed the packet to the Doctor and said, "No thanks, did it myself."

It wasn't bad as I did it on my fall break frshman year of college. I spent the week doped up eating/drinking milkshakes and watching movies. After 4 days I could eat solid food again (thanks to the bevay of taco bell commercials all I wanted for those 4 days were chalupas).

1 year ago I got hit by a fast lacrosse ball right on my jaw! It felt so strange. so I end up playing around with my jaw for a while until I'm ok again. Turns out 3 month later we notice that my teeth are not aligned! Unfortunetly needed to have our ensurance redone since my dad got a new job. So I had to wait like another 6 months before seeing the orthodonist. Turns out to reajust my teeth they need to break my jaw from the inside by cuttin some nurve or something and then replacing my jaw. Then I would need to wear braces for about 4-5 years awww. And your suppose to pay for that, not cheap dollar either more like 3k! HAHa no thanks.
