I went the past two years. They gave you a nifty SU Lax Camp pinny, 2 lanyards, a water bottle, gatorade packets, a poster and a different item. First year I got a nice Brine bag, and last year I got a Guru (all Brine stuff as they are a Brine sponsored camp). It was a decent camp I guess but the instruction could have been better and it was more focused on just games and stuff then actually learning new stuff or getting evaluated.

I went for about 7 years in a row. The competition in the A division is very good. Desko was usually there watching the games. The two divisions under that, for younger guys, aren't really taken as seriously, but they're still OK. They're meant more for developmental purposes, whereas the A division is almost a showcase.

I went last year and had a good time. I also won Jay Pfeifers gloves and a D Pole bag while i was there, so don't plan on leaving empty handed. I entered a raffle with $5 and won those two items. It was also my first year playing last year, and i was division A. If you don't learn a lot from the coaches, you'll learn alot from the kids your with. I also met a bunch of cool kids from all over. So overall i'd give the camp a 8 or 9 out of 10.

When I went they just had a fastest shot competition. They had other contests, but not competitions. There may have been an accuracy one too; I can't remember.
Edit: The stuff they give you at the beginning of camp is also very well thought out. For the last couple years I went, they gave out a 1 liter gatorade bottle, and packets of instant gatorade that each held enough for 1 liter. All you had to do was dump in the packet and fill with water.. I thought that was an excellent idea.

you mean it wasn't that good... Why didn't you like it? was it fair, like did everyone get to play or were the good kids favored?
Also did anyone go to johns hopkins or duke? how were they?

i thought it was decent but it was mostly all about the games which wans't bad becuase most kids wanted to get into games and not practice
but the morning sessions with the different position coaches helped a lil bit
