dude i was just thinking the same thing after i posted that
it would be so sweet to have a lax movie just like that
a bunch of young youths on a not very good team and an old man who has forgoteen the sport comes to teach them how to to play
you could even get like a lax flyin V
that would be sweet

you guys cant be serious. Except for rudy, those movies are horrible. I take that back. The chick goalie in D2 was hot. But rocky4? Damn, B that's just poor.

cold war propagand is amazing. And Dolph (Ivan) was the best villan in any movie, ever!

yeah, definitely the titans. and lord of the rings, but that's a 3 hour commitment. but when i watch lord of the rings, i feel like i have to make some amazing, super-dedicated and over dramatic play. but i still like that.

Name one other movie/series where at release #4 where you can name two of the characters unique to that movie. There was Superman 4 with SUN MAN or whoever TF he was, I don't remember the name. Rocky IV was awful from a cinematic standpoint but it rocks, I wonder if soon enough people will forget the cold war entirely.

i dont think so there was a couple movies about it...even more around jfks birthday and now with that new movie "miracle" coming out which kind of has the same theme as rocky 4 so i doubt itll be forgotten...and that movie looks cool btw

yeah it does look good

Alex
01-20-2004, 04:22 PM
I think Miracle looks bad, syrupy sweet with bad one-liners. It's a shame cause it's arguably the greatest story in American sports history, but it looks like they're totally hollywood-izing it. But I'll see it anyways, to see how it turns out.

My all time favorite pumpup film: "Victory"
really hard to find, a soccer movie set during WWII, it is POWS vs the NAZI national team. Great cast of the world's best soccer players at the time (Pele). Only lame part: Sly Stallone is the goalie, but a great movie

other great sport films: with brief nude scene
1.) Wildcats: Goldie Hawn
2.) Youngblood: Cynthia Gibb
3.) All the Right Moves: Lea Thompson

joeyp2003
01-25-2004, 02:36 PM
yeh its WAY over priced movies that friggin cost like millions apon millions to produce only cost like 20 bucks...even lord of the rings which is 2 discs cost like 20 bucks its a total ripofff...i understand they need to make money and stuff cuz its not open to a wide audience like major films but still 30 bucks is alot

i hate how warrior over prices everything it's so annoying
