Anyone besides me going to be glued to the tube during the TDF? If you are following it, who your rooting for: Lance, Urlich, Leipheimer, Basso?

I believe you mean Le Tour De Lance, no i wont watch it. I will recieve updates every morning on espn though.

oh yes. the sport that goes on longer than any other. you have to have hella endurance to even think about doing it. i bet Ulrich will win this year. king of the mountain (lance) will not be keeping his title.

Unless somehow Urlich overcomes his declining overall fitness, his degrading team, the overall strengthening of the teams that power Basso, Heras, and Leipheimer, Mayo, and the strongest team ever from Discovery, I dont think he'll win. He has always battled his weight every season and I doubt this year will be any different. If anyone is to beat Lance in the mountains, I think it will be Heras, assuming he isnt forced to drop out early. I wish though, that Lance was as much of a cyclist as Eddy Merckx, then it would really give the USA something to be proud of, and something that world would truly recognize as the greatest road cyclist ever.

Wow, first time ive heard mayo as a favorite. How old is he now? I think by the time he's done he'll have at least a podium finish

yeah they have a half hour high-lights show on tv here every night of the race so i will probly just watch that.

Ahh the pain. 30 mins a day, that sucks.. If you want the best coverage and are in the states, check out OLN, has Phil Liggett, coolest man alive

OLN is the only station that will cover it.

The tour de france will deffinately be occupying my days along with playing lax. It is a lot more exciting than people think. I know people and they are like that is boring to watch, but there is nothing greater than watching lance and his team set the pace and seeing the other cyclists just drop off the back, and also the attacks are fun to watch. I'll be watching, GO LANCE
