I have a problem. I have a Matrix with brine fresh mesh that I strung myself a while ago, and the pocket isn't doing so hot. After I pound it in, it will stay pretty deep for a while, but after playing for sometime, (15min), the pocket will have major shrinkage. I don't know if im doing someting wrong or fresh mesh does that. I'd appreciate all comments. Thnx.

e-lacrosse mentioned something like this in one of their readers tips. the guy ended up just taking a lighter and grazing the bottom of the mesh, just melting it a teeny bit. id give you the link, but im to lazy to find it.

fresh mesh is just like that. there really is nothing that i know of that you can do besides getting another type of mesh. The only good fresh mesh pocket i have ever seen was on my friend swerve and it was actually playable unlike every other i've noticed.

Yeah, Freshmesh is extremely hard to make a pocket out of, You could string it with double sidewalls, or you can also use a hairdryer and heat it up and pound the pocket. If you search Revo Pro Cloo24 had a revo pro strung with it really nicely.

Yea like atacklax said e-lacrosse said something about just grazing the bottem with a lighter. Fresh mesh was designed not to shrink so maybe it wasnt the best if you like a deep pocket

I'd just take it out and put catapultion in it. But that is just my opinion.

you can soak it in warm water and then break in the pocket...that usually helps

LaxNation did a review and said it will almost ALWAYS be shallow, unless you are power-cradeling.
