So incase you didnt get Summer's email...I called and this was the result...
Hey Guys and Gals,
All right you lacrosse junkies. We're trying to get this trip to the 2004 Men's Lacrosse Championships rolling but we need your help, patience, and money. Ha-ha, don't worry we wont bankrupt you, it'll just be the cost of tickets and maybe tailgating food and drinks. And gas money if someone picks you up/drops you off. All in all, money well spent to spend time with your fellow Lacrosse Forums friends. Here is some prelim information on the tickets for the three day Memorial Weekend Championships that will be happening this spring.
This information is thanks to Steg and his contacts (who knows where he gets 'em from heh heh):
Group tickets are for 20 or more people and for the whole weekend only.
The cheap seats cost $40 regularly. With a group discount they are $36.50, which means a savings of only $3.50 per person for the whole weekend. If you want the $60 seats there is no group discount.
So basically what we're saying is if you all want to go through the hassle only to save $3.50, your losers and you suck for making us work harder. So I would recommend just breaking open that wallet and indulging yourself! All in all it is not worth it and I think most of us can afford to shell out a little extra dough.
Also, I've included a list of people and their contact's so you can all keep in touch with each other and up to date. I still need some information from some of you so when you all email me back let to let me know about the tickets, please give me that information. Also, feel free to recruit friends who want to come
and please continue to push this trip on The Forums. We'd love to get as many Lacrosse Forum folks as we can to represent. If you work for another site/company (*Ahem, cough*) have no fears, we will still accept you without your incessant representation of The Forums Well folks, let me know your deallio. I've
attached the people who seem interested so far in an Excel document. If you don't have the program, email me and I'll type it out.
