Did anyone's team win state's? My team played in the Championship game vs. Darien and we lost 10-5 which is pretty good because they're ranked 5th in the nation.( I searched no thread like this)

We lost in the semi's to middleton 7-5 which isn't bad considering we lost to them by 16 the year before. Verona then beat them in the finals. wisconsin.

We're private, so we don't go to State. We have this thing called SPC (Southern Prepatory Conferense) thats for other prep schools. It's actually pretty hard b/c even though we're prep schools, we're fairly large for what we are, so we have a large amount of athletes. But in SPC, i think we lost 2nd round for Varsity, and for JV we lost in the quarters.

Last year we tied 6-6 for state chapionship with Lovett, this year we playd them agian in the big game, but lost 15-8 somehow, we played like crap that day, it was AWFUL, it didnt look ike anybody tried except the coach

I thought that St. X/Trinity was alot worse than i had originally imagined. My team (Verona, WI) lost to Trinity by 1 in Chicago this season. If our coach hadn't put in our backups (the man is an idiot) while we had a 2 goal lead, i should imagine that we'd come out on top. So yeah, i just thought that with all the players being sent to Bellarmine and Butler from that team, they probably should have dismantled our silly Wisco team...

Our varsity was 9 freshman who ran the team. I played JV since there were only two goalies at my school including me. We got eliminated in the quarter finals. We should go farther in the next few years.

D Bay, Division 1b in Ohio is a huge jump down from 1a...with mostly Coffman players from last year, in a lacrosse established town like Dublin, anything but a win in d1b would have been a let down

How does one unofficially win a state title?

i don't know about them but in VA, for AAA girls lacrosse (it might be the same for the guys but i'm not sure) the state title game is unofficial because the VHSL doesn't sponsor/certify/whatever the game. for AA girls lacrosse whoever wins region II claims the unofficial title because none of the other regions really have girls lax.

basically in VA the whole state doesn't play so you can't really have an official state tournament because there aren't enough teams. i'm assuming that's the same way it was for biopro.

not true man...we're a private school and we went to state this year. we had to to both, spc and state, so it was kinda exhausting but yeah....we can def go

idk...sucks, but the whole tournament was on their field. all the refs were dying for them to win, so we got the worst calls ever. too bad, but at least we got there :p

My towns been on a pretty bad streak in states, this and last year we got out first round (this year was no surprise because we faced Wilton...). And a couple years when we were in two finals we lost by one or two goals... Hopefully it will change

If I recall, it was 6-0 darien at the half. The wave just sat back and coasted to their well earned victory. No offense to McMahon, they did a hell of a job, but it wasn't what I would call giving darien any kind of run.
