yes i searched...how do i fix this(pocket trouble)?

the first time i strung this head i had virtually no pocket...this time i think i got it right becuase it has the hold that i was looking for...problem is that it throws down, really down, and even worse when its wet...link to pics of it

can i keep the hold and lose the throwing down (prob "whip" right?)...do i have to restring the stick or can i adjust things? Ive searched and haven't found anything helpful and ive read all of the posted tutorials from pocket placement to shooting strings and nothing has given me a definitive answer...so any help would be greatly appreciated

Are all the strings tight?? and what u need to do is near the top fasten the mesh to the parts of the sidewall knots to keep it from throwing down. I had the same exact problem and thats wat i did to fix it.sorry though i got no pics.

To get whip out you: For Hard Mesh: Tighten the top string and sidewalls. If that doesnt work, then you need to not even tighten the V shooter, in fact, just make it so it is tehre, not tightened at all. Put a nylon shooter at the top to insure that the ball does not hit the scoop. Then tighten the top string so it is almost as tight as the nylon shooter, then for the middle string make it the medium between the top and the bottom V.
For Wide-Diamond mesh i.e 6d and 5d: Tighten all strings, then for the shooters do a wrap instead of a weave, sorry if u dont understand i dont have pics. Make it consistently tighter across the head, it doesnt matter how tight the rolls are. preferably 3 straight works great for me but it is preference. A nylon shooter is really not needed, atleast in my experiences, but it may be in some cases

Soft Mesh: This often fools me. This is a MUST!!! Tight the sides strings or else it WILL throw down. The top string is not as important, but it will help. I also prefer to use the wrap instead of weaves and use 3 across with a nylon if needed.

Take the V out and make it 3 straight across with a nylon on top, the V catches the ball and makes it whip...

i like the hold it gives though...is there any way to get hold and remove whip or do they come in the same package?

an inverted u gan give you hold with less whip. there will be less hold but it should help the whip. wow i just said the same thing twice...

Bliss: the topstring needs to be attached to the diamonds go to one of the tutorials here and look at the topstrngs. The top is to loose so the ball is probably hitting the plastic.

i thnk there's too much space between the top (of the head) and the mesh...this picture might help show...

it never gets to the top, it gets stuck where the U meets the second string...i believe i see my mistake with the topstring...if i restring it with the same pocket placement and size, it should throw better?

the topstring...i know u already said that u can't make it go as high as the one in the picture but the higher u make it...the less the ball might catch the lip and basically either shoot down or not go very far...i had the same problem with my stick

i restrung the head with the correct way to do topstrings and tinkered with the sidewalls a bit and it throws well now and still has some hold...thanks to all of you who had patience and provided guidance
