the envy is coming out soon and while i was at a camp i got to try it out it was awesome the throat looks it is the tempest impulse and apex combined with a better pocket and ball scooping ability

I saw the envy today at the Cup of Nations tourny, it looked awesome and I can't wait until it comes out! The throat is very thick and doesn't have a ball stop. And some of the stringing is on the outside of the head which apparently improves catching and throwing. I dunno, but overall it looks excellent. I believe that it will come out in white, yellow, red, blue and one or two more colors. It should be great!

No ball stop? so is it just like any other stick w/out the ball stop? in other words, is it just the regular plastic @ the bottom?

Yeah, just the plastic. The ball stop area has high sidewalls but the walls then drop significantly, kinda like a tempest.

^^probably, although it may be a little more expensive b/c it will be "new and improved". Probably around 100.00

i heard about the envy when i was down in phili for the all american lax showcase and was talkin to one of the ppl that worked the venders. she said she was on the us team for 17 years or something. i dont really know i kinda lost her on that part but she was talkin about the new db stick. she said its really ugly and the throat looks like the tongue from the rolling stones? haha i dont know i've never seen it but i thought that was wierd. anywayyss she said theres guna be a lot of different looking sticks coming out because allt he companys are sueing eachother because so many stick are all similar (throats of the stick and stuff) i cant wait to see it though.
