I have a practice tonight and my topstring broke, but I don't have a spare one lying around and I obviously dont have time to order one. Could I use a shooting string? If not, what could I use?

Can you get to a Home Depot before your practice? Pick up string from there (not sure about size).

hmm, I disagree. Warrior heads come w/ the top-string strung from nylon shooter (not hockey lace). I would use nylon shooter first, a leather (remember all mesh sticks used to be strung with a leather on top), sidewall, and cross-lace if nothing else is available.

I guess I read the post wrong. I thought he had no string, period.

in a snap, a shoe lace will last a while. One of my friends used a shoelace for half a season before i restrang his stick.
