Ok, just make sure that when you attatch the mesh to the sidewall to start, make sure between that and the first hole that there are the same amount of diamonds in between, just be symetrical. Make every top hole the same amount of diamonds in a difference. look at pics of any mesh and see how many diamonds are in between. Thats all thats too it.

make sure ur top when u string the top mesh to the top of the head is symmetrical. i had that problem with some jimalax mesh too and i just had to restring it and make sure the top was symmetrical and now it throws like a dream and take ur time! good pockets are the result from being careful and takin ur time to get it the best u can do

attach the first diamond the the sidewall. the 2nd to the first scoop hole, the 4th the the 2nd scoop hole. the 5th to the 3rd scoop hole. The 7th to the 4th scoop hole and the 8th to the other sidewall.

does anyone else have trouble with jimalax mesh? i ordered some and it was really really bad quality mesh. its too hard, doesnt stretch, and if i put it in the washer it turns into basically american mesh.

sayy whaat?? bad quality mesh?? personally, i haven't had a single problem with jimalax mesh, the hard mesh stays hard and doesn't go to soft like other "hard" meshes and the 8 diamond is sweet too, the only mesh that i'm not a huge fan of is catapulation, i guess it was nice, but how it got soft got a little annoying, but then again i did soften it up with some fabric softner, maybe i'l order another piece and try again, but really no complaints with jimalax

They've get bad batches every now and then. Just email them and tell them and they'll probably replace it for you.

More generally for top strings, I usually attach one end and then fasten the other end with some scrap pocket nylon. Then, no matter what your mesh, you can see how to do it symmetrically. When you get to the other side, you can unfasten the end, and tie your final knot.

on oranges double sidewall tutorial you could use the same thing basically as a guideline just change the placement of your string
