I am a intermediate lacrosse player for my high school and I am playing throughout the summer at clinics and camps etc.. I have a deBeer Apex & a STX Whiplash. They are both in decent condition, except the STX is newer.. Anyways, I play only offense // a-wing or a home. I am asking if any of you know which is better for offensive play? I love the whiplash, but it's kinda heavy. Any kind of help is really appreciated!

Thanks :)

yeah that is the best way.
is how heavy the stick is make a really big difference on your shot though?

Playing with a heavier stick won't make a noticable difference in your shot at the level of play you're at.

As for which one to pick....play with them and figure out which you like better and use it. It's not a big deal.

I agree-definitely play with both and see which one you like better. Personally, I prefer the apex, b/c i am confident with it when I play with it, plus I love debeer products. But-ultimately, it's up to you. Good luck! Be sure to let us know which one you pick!

I agree-definitely play with both and see which one you like better...She owns both and has played w/ both, which makes this thread all the more pointless. It's like someone asking, 'I've tried ___ and ___ ice cream. Which tastes better? Tell me what my favorite flavor should be.'

it's not that way at all. i am a very athletic girl, and I picked up lacrosse less than a year ago, and have done quite well, esp. playing offensive positions. I want to make sure I am not playing with a beginner stick, opposed to playing with a stick to enhance my ability.

Neither stick is for beginners, and you are fine with either. It just depends on personal preference at this point, as others have said.
