Good eye on that CD. Evo first came out in 1999/2000. The first generation had a different neck/throat design. The next year, Warrior released the Evo with the redesigned throat that you still see on the current gen. I think Warrior redesigned it because of complaints of breakage in this area, but YMMV. I have a first gen Evo I use as my primary stick and haven't had any problems with it.

CCLax24, if this is such a great deal, then why don't you place a bid on it? You say you don't have an eBay account??? Is it just a coincidence that the location of the seller and you are both in San Antonio? Or that your "awesome deal" thread was posted just two minutes after the auction was listed?

well its tough for me since I haven't been playing for that long. THis is only my third year, very sadly. We don't have lacrosse in middle school, so the older equipment I dont know of
