Allstar Express in Kent Island

Allstar Express is in Kent Island and is July 14-17. Originally it was the 15-17, but the middle school division was changed to the 14. Is anyone entered in this tournament? If so, what team do you play for?

ya i was there we lost by one point to yellow jackets 08' in the finals for the futures division. it was a fun tourny. lilaxgurl23 what team do u play for?

I played for Rochester Lax in the High school division. We did decent, allowed the fewest goals, but we were all asleep, so for our first round, we lost to yellow jackets '07 like 8-9. Which was bad because we only lost to jackets 06 3-4. We never lost a game by more than one. Shoot if we had scored three more goals the whole torunament we would have been undefeated lol. Hmm maybe I actually saw you because me and my sister we askign a lot of you guys where and what GSE was lol. We're a little slow. But yep, I was there. Did you get the free head? My sister got the head and I got a chest protector (I'm the goalie), I love the free stuff.

A lot of my younger friends played on like finger lakes lightening in the futures though, maybe you played them?

i got a cheast protecter cuse im a goalie too. we didnt play finger lakes cuse they were into a different bracket and they didnt make it into the playoffs. we let in 9 shots in non playoff games and we scored 52 goals so we did pretty well. we were undefeated but we tied albany elite 08 6-6. we beat fs-lax 08 13-0, laxin sisters 7-0 and 9-2, lady roc i think 8-1, arlington 17-1. we did pretty well

hahaha That's great. Mad props for beating lady roc... They're going down lol I think Abbey friend was on that team (roc). Yeah sounds like you guy's did awesome. We also lost to Skyneatles (sp?), though we shouldn't have. Awesome tournament though, a good amount of coaches. The Duke one watch a few of our games. Eh, what size protector did you get? I got a large and there is no way that is fitting me, I'll have to sew it to get it to fit or something.

i got a medium but i am just gonna give it to my friend cuse hers broke and i like mine better since i just got it 2 months ago. coaches dont really watch our games but i saw a bunch of them. i was amazed lady roc made it to the semis because they stunk. our defense would shut them down almost everytime

I think I'll use mine next season. My current one is getting a little old but it's holding up good....Yeah, they young ones might not be that good, but the High school ones and the Open are pretty amazing. I think they're going to the all star express. I think Abbey might be playing on the "Varsity" squad too. Good luck at the All star express though, I wish I was going but the only way I would get there would be on lady roc and there is no way I was doing that. Oh well.

at the Star Spangled they give you free stuff just for being there, the field players either got a stick bag or a head and goalies a cheast protector and everybody got a towel

i'm goin up thursday night for games on friday/saturday.. 7:30 @ the field on friday. earrllineesss :bull: i play for intrepid 07. im really excited tho.. who else is guna be there? its kinda fun to know ppl on the other team ur playin. im #18 on my team. we're from pittsburgh-ish area so we gotta a lil bit of a drive.

not as long a drive as nh it is a good 9-10 hours not including NYC area traffic which can add another 2-4 hours

Yeah, I was on the fslax 2007 team. My team didn't play any team from your club. We did play CNYELC 06, Yellow Jackets 07 (i think), that Buffalo team, Metro, and Westchester Elite though. We had a great time up there, I can't wait for next year to come back!

Yeah, I heard that it is gonna rain fri and sat (maybe some t-storms) but i hope that it holds off. I like playin in the rain but i dont know what would happen if it started storming. I think they'd have to cancel games and just keep on schedule once the rain stops.

But anyways, I have a game at 8 am fri and sat and our team will be there all day cause our last game's not until 6 both nights. It will be a long two days, and hot/humid too! The worst part is that I'm not staying at a hotel so I've got to drive from my house at 5 am to get to the tourny on time both days. Oh well, at least i will get a lot of exposure to college coaches.

We've got like five games on Sunday and than I have to drive to the W&L camp. It's crazy.

Our MS team did wonderful today! They had four games and won all but one of them. I hope our high school teams do just as well. Good luck to everyone!

just got back friom the tourney. a lot of games got cancelled yesterday which sucked but i had 7 today which also sucked. some teams had 8 though so we were lucky. it seemed like they loaded the rising seniors on sunday and barely at all on saturday

i got back yesterday and the schedual wa soo annoying i haad 7 games on friday and it was soooooooo hot and then we had 3 games on sat but they are 5 hours apart from each other

I just got back last night...scheduling (sp?) was grueling for seniors most teams we played against had 7 or 8 games on sunday like us.
