In my interview with Wings general manager, Marty O'Neill, he told me that during the summer meetings in Las Vegas the owners and league officials agreed to assess the league referees. There has been too many blown calls over the years for the league's liking, and they are willing to do something about it now! Just thought you would all like to know that the NLL is actually doing something about the #1 complaint acrosse the league.

well thats good to hear, every league no matter what sport should awya s evaluate the refs. :clap

Yeah, the refs in the NLL are terrible. Whenever you allow boxing matches in a lacrosse game, you are crazy.

yea, this is definatly long overdue. Fighting is ok, to a degree but it's starting to get ridiculous at times. A lot of the calls have simply been blatently inconsistant over the years and I'm glad this is finally being realized.

The majority of the refs that are going to be evaluated will be from the eastern corridor. That means basically the guys who handle the majority of the games in Rochester, Philly, New York, and Buffalo, are the ones that suck. Now thats not to say that the other refs don't have one or two on their crews that are questionable, but when you are sporting referees who have team biases, then you really aren't getting a fair game called.

SEE THE THING IS THEY ARE ALL FROM THE cla AND IN CANADIAN LACROSSE MORE STUFF IS ALLOWED OR LET GO BECAUSE THE GAME IS, YEP, IT'S ROUGH IN NATURE!
DUDES, IN FIELD HERE THEY BARELY CALL FREE ARMS MAN, I GET SLASHED ON MY FREE ARM IN FIELD ALL THE TIME AND THEY NEVER CALL IT, BUT YOU LEARN TO PLAY BY IT!!!!
I THINK WHAT THE NLL SUCKS AT IS GOAL JUDGING, THE REFS ARE NEVER IN POSITION TO JUDGE GOALS PROPERLY AND MANY GO UNNOTICED!!!
AND THAT AMERICAN REF WITH THE HOCKEY HELMET NAD VISOR SHOULD BE FIRED HE ***** REFS BOX AND CALLS ALL THIS GAY ****!!!!
