Best Coaching in Illinois

To all:
Who are the best coached lacrosse teams in Illinois? This inlcudes all varisty coaches (head, asst, etc...) I am curious to see what people think. Please also provide a short explanation as to why you feel the way you do.

bob deegan, the head varsity coach at lake forest high school, coached up at garden city in newyork(top 20 in country) before coming here, brought in specialized coaching staff(faceoffs, etc) which is alot more than weve had in the past, new york coach of the year in the past, led lake forest to a very succesful season

John Combs of NT no questions asked. Who else could go 20-1, and undefeated in Illinois in his first year at the school. Prior to NT he has coached at Colgate and Holy Cross. His coaching was evident when the closest playoff game was an 11-4 win in the state championship game. He is never completely satisfied with our games and is always convinced we can play better, which I believe made us better in the long run. Not to mention he makes us run more than I thought was humanly possible.

The best coaches in Illinios are easily the Loyola Coaches...The old coach mike fuer was just amazing and now we have Rob Snyder and Will Sutton both played at ND and know everything there is to know about lacrosse.

yeah i had feuer for summer league and that guy is a great coach. the main difference i could see with him was emphasizing the finer points, not just like you should be lefty there but stuff like sliding into the passing lane before going at the guy.

also bill kalbfleisch from LT is an awesome coach who i dont think many people know of. hes been playing lacrosse for over 40 years and he basically knows everything. he can dissect a lacrosse game in under 5 minutes, and there arent many coaches in illinois that can do that (kind of an inside joke to lt kids...but its true).

you guys are all just naming your coaches....i think the LT coach must be a good coach. Hasnt LT only had a team for like 5 years? and he took em to state chamionship game. Sounds impressive to me.
