i was over at this kids house and noticed a stick that he had, it was an old STX onset head, the design on one sidewall said STX and the other side was just some curved lines or something, ill try and find pics but i doubt i will be able to, what is this head called, and was it any good in its day

^^ He's right. STX Turbo, freakin awesome. Best onset head EVER. I love that thing, it was my first stick, and i still have it. :D

http://www.teamsalescarolina.com/stx.html on this website they listed it at $55 is that a good price cuz that seems way over priced to me, and how old is the head, before the edge came out?

It was about the same time as the Edge. That's when i first got into lacrosse.

I wouldn't pay 55.00 for it, I got mine with an RP and F-15 for 2.00 at a yard sale. It is definately my favorite head though. If you really want to buy one, get it on ebay.
