Well since I made a thread in the other forum, I suppose I could make one for the women's. Unfortunately, I don't think it is as near impressive as the guy's new lines. Oh well, so here it goes.

Sticks-

Envy:
-Features pocket shock system
-Combines the best of the impulse and apex
-Convergent rail drop technology
-Increased sidewall curve for better pocket shape
-Drop V-Scoop design
-Designed to meet US Lacrosse specs (Probably means it doesn't meet IWLFA Specs, but not necessarily)

There will also be the Impulse with the Island series and the Apex with an Island series which includes Bahama (Green head, Blue trakker pro, pink gut) ,Montego (Purple head, Blue trakker pro, Pink gut),Kauai (Blue head, Gree Trakker Pro, Pink gut) and Oahu (Orange head, Blue Trakker Pro, Green Gut).

*** However, the Tempest is being dicontinued from production. They will continue being sold until the warehouses run out ***

Handles:

Velvet handle-
-Super strong and light titanium enhanced 803 alloy
-1% of all sales of this handle will go directly to a breast cancer research fondation
-"Velvet" coating for better grip and feel
-Excellent strength-to-weight ratio

Energy Handle-
-Combines the strength of the titanium enhanced 803 with the comfort of the soft feel finish for better grip
-Iridescent colors offeed
-Triax grip

803 Triax Handle:
-Shaft diameter half way between the traditional women's and men's handles
-rest of 803 qualities

Gloves:

Trinity Glove-
-New dual closure system allows you to get the perfect fit
-Amara palm for grip and breathability
-New Lycra Flex-ridge Knuckle system provides maximum flexability throughout the fingers of hand
-Foam protection in critical areas
-Machine washable

Pocket:

Trigger Pocket-
-New 5 runner system makes this the most accurate and consistent of all our pockets
-Preformed systhetic runners limit stretching
-Runners are slotted for easy stringing
-Strings into any stick

And that's pretty much it. I'll try to get pictures up tomorrow if I can. I'm not too impressed with Debeer this year, though I do really like the Energy shaft and the some of the guy's gear. They still have great stuff, just nothing too new like the new lines in the guy's section. Oh well, still have the best handle and head in the women's game imo.

Yeah this one is a little different because the one online is all composite. This new one is an 803 with coating, which I think is better.

hmm new pocket? "preformed synthetic"- does that mean its not like the tracker pocket where its one giant piece of pocket and has crappy grip?

I'm guessing they're going to be like the trakker pro inner leathers or like the brine web-x. They won't be connected or anything, but that's the feel they will have. I'll take a pic but for now I'll describe it to you. There is a leather going straight down the middle, one to it's left and right, and then a nylon to the side of those leathers, makeing it 5 thongs. Traditional between each of the thongs. Now the shooters, they have these new "grip" things on it so it is supposed to be really consistent. They have those for the new guys kit also. I'll try to get pics up tonight because I will be gone for the next week :(

Yeah so I didn't feel like making a new thread but I went to the brine table today at a tourny and they have a new head coming out called the Velocity I believe. If you girls venture over to the equiptment forums and search for the Pulse, it's pretty much that but a girls head. I would have taken pics, but they didn't have any actual heads and they wouldn't let me take the booklet grr.

so do you mean it has that rubber band thing on it? i wonder if that actually works

Yep, pretty much the same head but for women. It will be an interesting head

did you get a chance to try it out at all? seems to me like the rubberband would snap if a pass was thrown too hard. what does that thing do anyway? give you more whip or whatever

No, unfortunately the sales reps were clueless. They were possibly the two dumbest people I have ever met who sold or endorsed lacrosse sticks. They didn't have it there, but I think it's supposed to come with and extra band. I think it is supposed to help give when you catch and all.

I'm very curious how that will work out. It seems to me like it could cause some problems for pocket depth with the movement of the sidewall... It's a good idea for the men's game, but I have doubts about the women's.

Get a stick and stay with it. Giving all your money away every year for the latest flash is exactly what the manufacturers want.
Newer sticks develop bad habits in newer players anyway. Im all for advancing the tech end, however, these sticks can only make you better with TONS of practice (i.e The Wall).
I can do as much with an onset head as an offset one. Practice negates any benefit the developers claim their "newest" sensation can give you. :nahya:
