wow i was at madlax the other day and i asked about the X2 and they told me STX STOPPED MAKING THEM!!! wat is going on here this is/was one of the best heads for d-poles available....anyone know why they stopped making them??

thats a rumor i emailed stx and they said they are only discontinueing it for the rest of the year to focus on new heads and will be "continueing producting" at the start of next year.

There'll probably be a "better" version released for next season.....sorta like Brine with the Edge being resurrected as the E3.

Wait and see what comes out, it might be a much needed update on a ~5 plus year old design.

they make an X2+ now
it basiclaly the same i think, just a lil bit different offset

y didnt they stop making the proton then. it doesnt make any sense if there just stop making the x2 an htne there gonn reproduce it

It is a stupid move. But you need to search dude. There are like 5 other threads on the x2 being discontuinued.

My guess it has to do with the brine war....


and because, a long shot gut feeling says, x2 pro pinch and proton pro pinc are coming? Stx has sucked last few years, they need a revamped classic to bring them back like brine did after the horrible years of plastic inserts in the edges

they need to have a WAY more pinched x2 becuz it has souch bad ball control
