Im on the Organisation committee of the Irish National and Club teams based here in Dublin, Ireland. To say that lax is a minority sport here, would be a massive understatement, but we are making progess in developing the sport here, and hope to continue doing so. Ireland have entered a womens squad in the upcoming European newcomers tournament and the guys are competing in the Celtic Cup this month. We also hope to compete in a number of club tournments in the new season.
We are always looking for talent to play, coach, advise the teams here, and id like to extend an invite to anyone who is interested in coming to Ireland, or who is already here, to join up with us for training and a bit of craic.
You can contact Irish Lax at www.irishlacrossefoundation.com, www.dublinlacrosse.com or at irish_womens_lacrosse@yahoo.com.
Your in Lax,
Sharon Ni Leannain.
