Need help with Lacrosse Head question.

My son just started playing lacrosse and LOVES IT! He has officially retired from soccer and baseball to do this full time. Long story short - I bought him a complete Brine stick on ebay and when it came in the mail - it was a women's stick. My question is - is there anyway to restring the head to make it a men's stick? Do I just need to buy a new head? Can anyone help? please go easy on me.

1) Take the "sidewall strings" (the vertical strings IMMEDIATELY inside the sides of the stick) and loosen them, at least an inch or two.
2)Take the "Throat string" (The very southernmost string, at the base/foundation of the head, and loosen it, at least an inch or two.

This will give you a MEN's POCKET.
--If it is a "women's" (specifically) head, there is a chance you might want to get a men's (offset) head.
---The best head I can recommend for an absolute beginner is a Brine Edge. It should be about 15 bucks on Ebay.

yeah, Acadamy or Oshman's have Icon complete sticks and AV8 Sticks. Both are great for begginers, and shouldnt be more than $35

You will need to buy a new stick completely because the women's shaft is smaller in diameter therefore men's heads won't fit on it. I really recommend this setup for a beginner, and while it may be a bit more expensive, this stick will last your son past his beginning days- a warrior platinum alloy shaft (about $35 or $40) with a Brine edge head ($25-30)

yeah i got an icon for my first stick at big 5. it was great and only cost me 30 bucks.
