why did stx discontinue the x2 its a classic

Search, this is probably the 5th thread on this.
Also, it's because they want to make room for the new line of products coming out later this year.

much like the original excalibur went away. sales were dropping and they wanted to add something new to the product line.

wrong.
X2 Plus's were made to adjust to the Brine lawsuit.
Heads get discontinued over time. It happens. You guys probably haven't noticed it, but a bunch of heads that we've loved over the years are gone (mainly the Edge).
However, X2's will still be easy to buy. Trust me. Wizards and Matrixes were discontinued this year and its not hard to find one. And X2's sell a lot more, so they'll be even easier.
