Does anyone buy from Great Atlantic?

Hay, fellow lacrosse players...
I was wondering if anyone bought any of their gear form Great Atlantic, has anyone? And if you have are you a member of their club? I was thinking of joining it and getting some free stuff and discounts...but I wanted some opinions. So is it a good idea to join? Also, they have a really good deal on Protons and Cybers, only $24.99! I was thinking of getting either one and was also wanting to know which one I should get. It is going to be more of a back-up short pole or throw around stick. which should I get? It comes with soft mesh and it is only the head...so I have an f15 short pole lying around which would go better?

ive been ordering from them for a long time, ive been a clublax member since 2001 i think and i really like their catalog

I buy from them and am in the club...
I think for a small club that can't purchase direct from the manufacturere its a good deal...With club membership prices are average...but if you buy alot the points will add up...plus their customer service and shipping is great...
If you dont buy alot, or rarely...I'd go with a different company just based on price

i dont buy much, i have from them though. good to deal with, not in that club, not worth it. i dont wanna pay 25 bucks to get the price that the item should start at.

i think the club thing is good if you order a lot of things too like thats where i bought my goal and everything and now they started where you get double points on some items so it really pays off i have enough to get a free head now but im gunna keep saving up

GA is overpriced, the club brings prices down to only average among online retailers. They have good sales sometimes, but if you still have to actually pay to get decent prices through the club that's ridiculous. When I've bought from them the shipping was timely and order well packed, etc, but in general you can do better.

About GA, its like warrior, it has the annoying catalogs that come

like every 3 weeks, they send one everytime thiers a new product, so i got like 6 of em this fall

GA has good shipping, service, and product range, but thier stuff is soooo expensive its hardly worth getting the product like 2 days earlier. Even with the club membership, stuff on
texlax and qclax are much cheaper.

It's because great atlantic is run off the same company that runs europsort, aka soccer.com. Soccer.com was founded first, and they had a catalog that comes about every month. It is the EXACT same layout for the websites and the catalog. Same jacked up prices, and also the same "club" that you have to join to get the normal prices that everyone else offers.

stopper, are you sure? in the GA catologue i got, the proton is $25 and is a checkered looking design and it is just the head. can you get a link of what you ordered?

my team is ordering helmets for 20% off, so my triad is costing me 143, no shipping, it's beautiful. and of course purchase the cyber, it's a piece of art.

What if I tried a cyber on a defense pole? I have a BIonic now, and I will not replace it, but is cyber any good on a dpole?

cyber is what i use i love it nice light stiff greaaaaat head i don't know about the gen 2's though i have a gen one
