Hey I'm new to the forums and have been browsing them for about a week now. I figured that I would make a name and post about a problem that I have, since I have seen other threads on this topic.
Well, I am very interested in this girl I know, let's call her Merry. I have seen her many times outside of school, and she has said hi, and what's up? and we have hung out a lot. She is on the club soccer team and my sister and a lot of girls I am close with are on the club soccer team, friends that is. I know that she thinks im cute, due to other people on the soccer team, and I think the same about her. The problem is I really can't get her attention and let her know that I want to get closer to her. When ever we hang out her friends are always around, and I really can't talk to her one on one. In other words, she would rather talk to her friends that she has not seen in three days over me.
I was just wondering what should I do to let her know that she is special to me?
Any advie would be great, and thanks in advance

id say try to get her screen name if she has one, or her phone number... dont be scared, when you get a chance just be like hey can i talk to you for a minute? and just tell her what you think

I am currently 15 and she is 14, but will be turning 15 in october
She does have a screen name, and I will probably see her next week at the pool club.

As much as you dont want to be around all her friends all the time, it is important every once in a while. If you can make her friends like you, they'll give the go ahead to her, unless they are just gay...

and if that doesnt work. next time u are haning out with a big group and everyone is getting ready to leave or w/e be like " hey i dont wanna go home do u wanna still hang out"

HAHAHAHAHA. Nice guys finish last. From personal experience. Every girl thinks I'm nice and funny and crazy/random in a good way, but I never win. Except I'm okay with that, because I have a ton of girls that are my friends, so when the moment arises, ladies will give me the all clear.
Do you have her phone number? Does she have a phone? DUH. Ask her on a date. Her party posse can't follow along on a date.

Nah... let me tell you. The reason you feel attracted is because she doesn't pay you much mind. She knows you're noticing her and stuff. You've gotta kinda pull a reversal on her. Be the one not paying her much mind. Don't TOTALLY ignore her though... lead her on. Make her wonder. The mysteriousness between your feelings for each other make the relationship that much more interesting. Instead of telling her you like her, flirt. Telling her brings distruction to the mysteriousness and just adds an akward feeling. Right now, she has the upper-hand. You've gotta take that over. yeah seriously. my first kiss wasnt until like the last week of school in 8th grade..so i was what 14? anyway dan is mormon so he wouldnt have dated/kissed anything before he turned 16. mormons are chilll
